The Goldman Sachs Group has appointed Ellen Kullman, the former chief executive officer of DuPont, as an independent member of its board of directors, effective as of Dec. 21, the company announced in a Form 8-K filing.

At Goldman, Kullman also serves on the compensation commitee; the corporate governance and nominating commitee; and the risk committee of the board.

Kullman retired as chair and CEO of DuPont in October 2015.

With the appointment of Kullman, the Goldman’s board consists of 14 directors.
