In September 2015, I was motivated by Jeff Harper's awesome drawing (below) of the five SEC commissioners reimagined as WWE wrestlers to launch the Enforcement Action Art Gallery. As I mentioned at the time, the art we add to this collection will "be preserved for future generations (or until Compliance Week deletes this blog, whichever comes first)."

It occurs to me, however, that there are many photographs that need to be preserved, as well. Accordingly, I hereby open the Photo Wing of the Enforcement Action Art Gallery with the following pieces--with more to come.

1. "The Enforcers" photo from The New York Times

In February 2010, The New York Times ran a feature article that included this photo of the "SEC Enforcers." Definitely a keeper.

2. In February 2012, insider trading went mainstream when Time put U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara's face on its cover with the caption, "This Man is Busting Wall Street."

3. I have been concerned for some time that the photo below from the 2011 Facebook page for U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Careers might be quietly deleted and disappear forever. That will not happen on the watch of the Enforcement Action Art Gallery--it is imperative that the attire of the supposed "SEC employees" in this photo be preserved.

And yes, guy third from the left in the white Saturday Night Fever jacket with the black shirt underneath, I'm looking at you!
