Boston-based investment firm Arctaris Impact Investors announced the appointment of Alan Halfenger as general counsel and chief compliance officer.
Halfenger previously served as global chief compliance officer at Bain Capital, where he also was a consulting partner and practice leader focused on the compliance, risk, and infrastructure needs of private funds managers.
He also held leadership roles at JPMorgan, ACA Compliance, and Treliant. Halfenger was named a Top Mind by Compliance Week in 2016.
In the weeks ahead, Arctaris will announce additional strategic hires to its leadership team.
