Financial services firm CAN Capital announced the appointment of Edward Dietz as chief compliance officer and general counsel.

As chief compliance officer and general counsel, Dietz will oversee CAN’s compliance with all federal and state lending, banking, and securities laws.

Dietz brings nearly two decades of legal experience and specialized knowledge of the financial industry to CAN Capital’s management team. He previously served nine years as senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer at New Jersey-based Marlin Business Services Corp.
