Chemical and specialty materials company Celanese Corp. named Ashley Duffie as senior vice president and general counsel.

Duffie will replace Anne Puckett, who will serve in a transition role through early 2024, after which she will depart after five years with Celanese.

Previously the vice president and chief procurement officer of Celanese, Duffie has also served as president and general counsel, Asia Pacific region; vice president of the integration management office; chief compliance officer; and associate general counsel, global litigation and environmental, health, and safety law. Before Celanese, she was an attorney with Haynes and Boone, specializing in environmental law, internal corporate investigations, and litigation.
