Davis Polk announced Raul Yanes, former chief compliance officer at Morgan Stanley, will rejoin the law firm as a partner in the white-collar defense and investigations practice in New York.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley as CCO in 2017, Yanes was a partner in and head of Davis Polk’s white-collar practice. He also previously led the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

At Morgan Stanley, Yanes’s CCO role was expanded to include responsibility for the global financial crimes and operational risk departments. He was named the firm’s first head of nonfinancial risk.
