The Providence Service Corporation and LogistiCare, a non-emergency medical transportation broker, has appointed Julie Correll as chief compliance officer.

In this role, she is responsible for implementing and leading all Medicare/Medicaid program integrity compliance activities, including conducting ethics investigations and risk assessments, overseeing auditing and monitoring activities, and working with clients and law enforcement on issues pertaining to fraud, waste, and abuse.

Prior to her appointment, the 30-year industry veteran, who began her career at LogistiCare in 2013, served as the company’s associate general counsel and ethics and compliance officer. In this role, Correll established the company’s first comprehensive corporate compliance function, including forming and chairing LogistiCare’s compliance committees.
