Late-stage pharmaceutical company MEI Pharma announced the appointment of Tina Beamon as chief compliance officer.

Beamon will be responsible for the enterprise-wide compliance programs that manage risks associated with core business activities.

Beamon has more than 20 years of experience across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, including providing guidance in support of nine launches for new products and indications. Most recently, she served as chief compliance officer at Karyopharm Therapeutics. Other positions included executive director of compliance and ethics at Alexion Pharmaceuticals and senior counsel at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals.
