Temple University announced the appointment of Susan Smith, who served as interim chief compliance officer since January, as CCO.
Smith succeeds Alejandro Diaz in the role and will report directly to the board of trustees. She leads the ethics and compliance office as it focuses on upholding a high level of integrity.
Previously, Smith worked for more than two decades as a lawyer in Temple’s office of university counsel, where she handled regulatory and research compliance.
