Ingersoll Rand, an air compressor supplier, has named Maria Green as senior vice president and general counsel, effective Nov. 2. She will serve as an officer of the company and be responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of Ingersoll Rand’s legal and compliance affairs worldwide. She will report to Chief Executive Officer Michael Lamach.

Green joins Ingersoll Rand from Illinois Tool Works, where she served as senior vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary since 2011. During her tenure as general counsel, she provided leadership for environmental, health, safety and sustainability.
