The McClatchy Company, an American publishing company, has appointed Peter Farr as corporate controller and chief accounting officer, effective as of April 16, 2018.

Farr joins McClatchy from The Boeing Company in Seattle, WA, where he spent the past ten years in increasingly senior leadership roles, most recently as Northwest Accounting Policy Director. He has prior experience in industry and at the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. Farr also served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps for six years.
