National Planning Corporation, an independent broker-dealers, has announced the appointment of Patricia McCallop as chief compliance officer.

McCallop will be responsible for leading NPC’s compliance team and overseeing the company’s adherence to state and federal regulations. She will be report to John Johnson, president and chief executive officer, with shared oversight by Gerry Gunderson, senior vice president and general counsel of regulatory affairs.

McCallop rejoins NPC after serving in the role of assistant vice president of Advisory Compliance for NPC from 2010 to 2012. Following this position, she led the compliance team at Zuk Financial Group. McCallop brings eleven years of compliance experience to her new position.
