Over at Broc Romanek's excellent blog (TheCorporateCounsel.net), Broc asked his readers this week to take a guess at the date on which SEC Chair Mary Jo White will serve her last day at the SEC. As of this morning, the results of Broc's online poll look like this:

(For the record, I'm going with by the end of Q1 2017 as my guess.)

Inspired by Broc, let me throw another question out to readers of this blog. Does anyone remember that waaaaaaaaaaaay back in October 2015, President Obama nominated Lisa Fairfax and Hester Peirce to be SEC Commissioners? Yes, I know it was a very long time ago, but trust me -- this did actually happen.

Eleven months later, Fairfax and Peirce are still in limbo, waiting to be confirmed to join the Commission. My question to you all is:

When will SEC Commissioner nominees Lisa Fairfax and Hester Peirce be confirmed by the U.S. Senate?

Please weigh in by clicking on the poll below to vote!

And, for the record, I'm going with "by the end of March 2017."
