The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) announced the appointment of Aleks Zabreyko to the Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF), effective immediately.

Zabreyko is partner and strategic markets leader at Connor Group, an advisory firm that specializes in addressing complex technical accounting issues and financial transformation needs of high-growth companies. 

The EITF assists FASB in improving financial reporting through the timely identification, discussion, and resolution of financial accounting issues. Members are chosen from a cross section of FASB stakeholders, including public accounting firms, preparers of financial statements, and users of financial statements.
