Heather Zichal, chief executive of the American Clean Power Association (ACP), will depart the organization to become global head of sustainability at banking giant JPMorgan Chase.

Zichal will exit the ACP on Oct. 20, the organization announced. She has led the clean energy advocacy group for the past two years.

Previously, she served as executive director of the Blue Prosperity Coalition, a global network working to advance sustainability goals. Prior to that, she worked as the vice president of corporate engagement for The Nature Conservancy, according to her ACP company bio.

In government, Zichal served as deputy assistant to the president for energy and climate change during the Obama administration.

Zichal wrote in a blog she will join JPMorgan in November and be overseeing “trillions of dollars in sustainable investments.”
