OceanFirst Financial Corp. disclosed the appointment of Angela Ho as chief compliance officer for the company and OceanFirst Bank.

Ho joined OceanFirst in 2016 as its principal accounting officer. She previously served as an independent director at Retail Opportunity Investments Corp. for two years, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Before her time at Retail Opportunity, she served as a controller at Northfield Bank, account policy manager at Signature Bank, and as a senior associate at KPMG Audit.

Patrick Chong will succeed Ho as OceanFirst’s principal accounting officer.
